To be successful in this position, you will need:
- Bachelor's degree in a related field and three years of related experience in management of projects of moderate size/complexity with limited performance risk, including project planning, scheduling, tracking, and budgeting, or a combination of education and experience.
- Polished written and oral communication skills to address a wide variety of audiences.
- Ability to productively engage and influence cross-functional teams.
- Demonstrated project management ability to employ integration, scope time management, cost, quality, human resources, communications, risk, and procurement components.
- Demonstrated resilience, diplomacy, influence, relationship building, and problem solving skills in a variety of situations.
- Depth of knowledge in technical discipline/domain needed to deliver projects.
In addition, our preferred requirements include:
- Bachelor’s degree and five years of relevant experience, or combination of education and relevant experience.
- Advanced knowledge of space planning and management in a rapidly changing environment of complex academic facilities
- Demonstrated creativity, problem solving, critical analysis, initiative, judgment and, decision-making skills.
- Comfortable working with uncertainty and adjusting objectives
- Experience with Stanford University systems and policies
- Demonstrated experience working independently and as part of a team.
- Highly skilled at managing community expectations with project reality
- Keen interpersonal skills and awareness of impact of actions
- Love of solving puzzles and extreme attention to detail

The expected pay range for this position is $105,000 to $134,000 per annum. Stanford University provides pay ranges representing its good faith estimate of what the university reasonably expects to pay for a position. The pay offered to a selected candidate will be determined based on factors such as (but not limited to) the scope and responsibilities of the position, the qualifications of the selected candidate, departmental budget availability, internal equity, geographic location and external market pay for comparable jobs.
