Candidate Qualifications and Experience:
- Master’s degree or Certified Public Accountant and 6+ years of relevant experience, or combination of education and relevant experience.
- Knowledge and ability to apply, interpret, and implement General Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment with multiple active deadlines and able to adapt to and proactively communicate changing priorities.
- The successful candidate will have a passion for leading change, possess a positive attitude, and be hard-working and driven, with a focus on results and accountability.
- Experience developing and presenting financial results to senior leadership.
- Proven results in business operational improvement.
- Ability to provide guidance, counsel, and information to employees throughout SRE in specific areas of financial results.
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Proven results providing business partnering to “client” departments within an organization.
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office applications. Yardi experience a plus.
- Excel skills must be advanced with ability to manage large amounts of data.
- Demonstrated experience managing people.
- Strong leadership and excellent organizational skills with high standards for accuracy and execution required.
Location
The role is based in Redwood City, CA with the option to work a portion of the week remotely.
