To be successful in this position, you will need: 

●    Bachelor’s degree (in a scientific or engineering discipline preferred) and five years of relevant experience, or combination of education and relevant experience.  
●    Highly effective written and oral communication skills to address a wide variety of audiences.
●    Demonstrated project management ability to employ integration, scope time management, cost, quality, human resources, communications, risk, and procurement components.
●    Demonstrated leadership skills and ability to influence and motivate constituencies which could span multiple organizational boundaries.
●    Demonstrated excellent planning, organizational and analytical skills.
●    Ability to balance customer expectations with project reality.
●    Demonstrated resilience, diplomacy, influence, relationship building, and problem solving skills in a variety of situations.
●    Relevant subject matter expertise, for example, in scaling and commercializing technology solutions

 

In addition, our preferred requirements include: 

●    Ideal candidates will have deep knowledge of and network within  sustainability and climate change technologies,  
●    An ability to engage and attract participation by Stanford faculty and staff in impact focused activities.
●    Experience in scale and commercialization to deliver technology projects
●    Experience connecting and interfacing with scientists and entrepreneurs.    
●    Demonstrated ability to make sound business decisions and independently exercise sound judgment and decision making, problem solving and critical analysis.
●    Teaching experience
●    Familiarity with patent laws, licensing, industry and regulatory requirements.
●    Knowledge of Stanford University systems and policies
●    Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite and Google products, and ability to learn applicable business-related systems.
