To be successful in this position, candidates will have:
  • Bachelor's degree and five years of relevant experience or combination of education and relevant experience. Advanced degree preferred. 
  • Familiarity with PostGrads is a plus.
  • Excellent verbal, writing, research and editorial skills, preferably demonstrated in an academic setting;
  • Ability to understand and articulate how stewardship supports and advances the broader fundraising agenda.
  • Demonstrated project management skills.
  • Strong client service orientation and attention to detail.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, and professionalism to interact with a wide range of people at different levels of an organization. Demonstrated ability to work with and relate to people from many different backgrounds, including a diverse group of colleagues, and/or faculty, staff, students, alumni and friends of the school.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, and a proven ability to work patiently, persuasively, and effectively with a wide variety of people, including students, faculty, staff and donors
  • Demonstrated experience with drafting and editing high-level correspondence.
  • Demonstrated experience leading project teams.
  • Proven ability to effectively and efficiently manage multiple priorities, with competing deadlines, both independently and collaboratively.
  • Must be able to find and interpret relevant information and synthesize to compose clear and effective prose. 
  • Demonstrated sound judgment in situations requiring independent decision-making and in handling confidential and sensitive material.
