Minimum Requirements:
Education & Experience:
- Advanced degree and five years of relevant experience in area of specialization or combination of relevant education, training, and/or experience.
- For jobs with financial responsibilities, experience managing a budget and developing financial plans.
- Experience developing program partnerships and funding sources.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Ability to develop program partnerships and funding sources.
- Advanced oral, written, and analytical skills, exhibiting fluency in area of specialization.
- Ability to oversee and direct staff.
- Ability to manage budgets and develop financial plans.
Certifications and Licenses:
For teaching jobs, advanced degree or certification may be required for some programs.
Strongly Preferred Qualifications:
- Professional experience in environment, energy, or sustainability related field
- Experience engaging, advising, and counseling research-oriented and practice-oriented graduate students.
- Ability to think strategically and solve problems creatively.
- Ability to build strong relationships and collaborations with faculty, staff, and students to advance E-IPER’s goals and strategic direction.
- Strong leadership skills, and ability to encourage and facilitate faculty participation.
- Demonstrated ability to develop and implement innovative teaching programs.
- Experience in recruiting/outreach activities, curriculum development and teaching, fundraising, and stewardship.
