DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Advanced degree in higher education, student affairs, or a relevant field
Expertise in graduate student challenges and wellness issues, including needs assessments, and program development
Previous experience in student services, program management, or related field
Experience mentoring and/or advising students in a university environment
Ability to balance the management of long-term, complex projects with day-to-day program activities and communications
Ability to produce effective digital communications
Ability to oversee and direct staff
Discretion in handling sensitive and/or confidential student and university information
Advanced facility with standard office software (or ability to learn); including communications and research software (e.g, Word, Excel, Tableau, Qualtrics, MailChimp, Caspio, SlideRoom, or similar platforms)

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE (REQUIRED): Bachelor's degree and five years of relevant experience, or combination of education and relevant experience.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES (REQUIRED):

Advanced communication skills to clearly and effectively communicate information to internal and external audiences, client groups, and all levels of management.
Strong analytical and problem solving skills to review and analyze complex information.
Advanced computer skills, including experience with Microsoft Office Suite.
Advanced customer service skills.
Relevant computer systems/technology experience.
Understanding of financial transactions.
Ability to ensure and apply compliance with legal, financial, and university policies and external regulations
