DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS: 
  • Advanced degree in higher education, student affairs, or a relevant field
  • Expertise in graduate student challenges and wellness issues, including needs assessments, and program development
  • Previous experience in student services, program management, or related field
  • Experience mentoring and/or advising students in a university environment
  • Ability to balance the management of long-term, complex projects with day-to-day program activities and communications
  • Ability to produce effective digital communications
  • Ability to oversee and direct staff
  • Discretion in handling sensitive and/or confidential student and university information
  • Advanced facility with standard office software (or ability to learn); including communications and research software (e.g, Word, Excel, Tableau, Qualtrics, MailChimp, Caspio, SlideRoom, or similar platforms)
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE (REQUIRED):  Bachelor's degree and five years of relevant experience, or combination of education and relevant experience.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES (REQUIRED):
  • Advanced communication skills to clearly and effectively communicate information to internal and external audiences, client groups, and all levels of management.
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills to review and analyze complex information.
  • Advanced computer skills, including experience with Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Advanced customer service skills.
  • Relevant computer systems/technology experience.
  • Understanding of financial transactions.
  • Ability to ensure and apply compliance with legal, financial, and university policies and external regulations
