To be successful in this position, you will bring:

- Bachelor’s degree and three years of relevant experience or combination of education, training, and relevant experience.
- Advanced degree may be required for some programs. For jobs with financial responsibilities, experience managing a budget and developing financial plans.
- Ability to develop program partnerships and funding sources.
- Excellent oral, written, and analytical skills, exhibiting fluency in area of specialization.
- Ability to oversee and direct staff.
- Ability to manage budgets and develop financial plans.
- Excellent program/project management skills. Ability to plan, organize, and implement a program with a high volume of diverse activities across multiple programs.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, and a comfort working with a wide variety of personalities
- Autonomy and inherent motivation to create high-quality work
- Excellent attention to detail
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent data analysis skills enabling the assessment of program impact, and uncovering opportunities for continuous program improvement.
In addition, preferred requirements include:

- A broad awareness of the multitude domestic and global environmental sustainability issues and an ability to quickly get up to speed on any specific issue
- Experience teaching or developing curriculum for any age group
- Experience or familiarity with, and interest in, entrepreneurship, entrepreneurial learning, or startups.
- Experience working in higher education
- The ability to empathize with or relate to the population of students across the university
- Being comfortable navigating ambiguity, and the spirit to “build the airplane while it’s flying”
- Ability to build structure and processes where there are none
- Experience and comfort with Google Suite products (e.g. Gmail, Google Sheets, Google Forms, Google Docs, etc.) which the GSB uses heavily
The expected pay range for this position is $95,000 to $130,000.00 per annum. Stanford University provides pay ranges representing its good faith estimate of what the university reasonably expects to pay for a position. The pay offered to a selected candidate will be determined based on factors such as (but not limited to) the scope and responsibilities of the position, the qualifications of the selected candidate, departmental budget availability, internal equity, geographic location, and external market pay for comparable jobs.
