MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
Education & Experience:
Bachelor’s degree and three or more years of relevant experience or combination of education, training, and relevant experience. Advanced degree highly preferred; PhD, with specialization related to Africa, strongly preferred. Experience teaching at the undergraduate level is preferred. For jobs with financial responsibilities, experience managing a budget and developing financial plans. Experience managing staff, drafting annual budgets, and implementing an annual event calendar Is strongly preferred.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
● Ability to develop program partnerships and funding sources.
● Excellent oral, written, and analytical skills, exhibiting fluency in area of specialization.
● Ability to oversee and direct staff.
● Advanced knowledge of managing budgets and developing financial plans, strongly preferred.
● Knowledge of a language of the African continent and/or African diaspora strongly preferred.
The expected pay range for this position is $76,000 to $139,000 per annum.
