What You’ll Bring:
We are looking for someone who is collaborative, hard-working, strategically-minded, enthusiastic, energetic and a creative problem solver. This job requires working with all levels of our constituents, so it is important that you can demonstrate professional decorum as well as an ability to communicate and build relationships across broad audiences. A good sense of humor is appreciated (where appropriate) and a strong, dedicated work ethic is a must.

QUALIFICATIONS – EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
Required: Bachelor’s degree and three years of relevant experience or combination of education, training, and relevant experience. Advanced degree may be required for some programs.

Preferred: Depth of knowledge of special education or related fields. Advanced degree in special education or relevant field. Experience in diverse K-12 public schools.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
Required:
  • Ability to develop program partnerships and funding sources.
  • Excellent oral, written, and analytical skills, exhibiting fluency in area of specialization. 
  • Ability to oversee and direct staff.
  • Basic knowledge of managing budgets and developing financial plans.

Preferred:
  • Ability to coordinate and manage multiple projects with competing priorities, meet deadlines and project plans with short- and long-term end dates. Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail. Demonstrated success in following through and completing projects. 
  • Ability to take initiative and ownership of projects, while still being open to new and creative solutions. 
  • Demonstrated experience collaboratively leading and managing team projects.
  • Ability to interact effectively and tactfully with a broad range of constituents and partners, including members of the academic community, members of the public school community, policy makers, and public press.
  • Demonstrated experience working in an environment with colleagues of diverse backgrounds and customs.
  • Advanced computer skills with a working knowledge of applications such as Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Project Management Software. 

This position is fixed-term through March 31, 2021, and may be renewable based on performance and funding.

Successful candidates will be required to complete a background check prior to working at Stanford University.

Visa sponsorship is not available for this position; all candidates must be eligible to work in the United States without sponsorship for 2 years or more. OPT permit holders should confirm that they are eligible to work in the US at Stanford GSE for two years or more.
