MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

Education & Experience:

Bachelor's degree and three years of relevant experience or combination of education and relevant experience. Preference will be given to candidates with experience in alumni relations in a higher education setting.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) and the ability to represent the university professionally both internally and externally.
Demonstrated experience with volunteer development and oversight.
Strong interpersonal, team, and leadership skills; tact and flexibility in working with diverse population groups.
Sound judgment, the ability to analyze problems quickly and accurately, and the ability to develop practical and effective solutions to solve a variety of problems.
Computer proficiency and the ability to learn new systems. Salesforce, Marketo, PostGrads, and html experience a plus.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team to meet expected deadlines and schedules.

Certifications and Licenses:

Valid California Non-commercial Class Driver's License.

WORKING CONDITIONS:

Occasional work on evenings and weekends.
May work outdoors.
Some local or domestic travel.
A remote or hybrid worker arrangement may be considered for candidates with the appropriate background and experience, with a preference for candidates based in the Bay Area, Southern California, or the New York or Washington, DC metropolitan areas.

When conducting university business, must comply with the California Vehicle Code and Stanford University driving requirements.
