DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Juris Doctorate degree
- Experienced in academic and faculty affairs issues.
- Knowledge of legal considerations and regulatory processes affecting faculty employment.
- Understanding and experience in investigations, employee relations, conflict resolution, and organizational behavior.
- Comprehensive knowledge of university governance and grievance processes.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE (REQUIRED):
Bachelor's degree and eight years of relevant experience, or combination of education and relevant experience.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES (REQUIRED):
- Demonstrated leadership skills and ability to influence and motivate constituencies which could span multiple organizational boundaries.
- Demonstrated excellent planning, organizational and analytical skills and the ability to multi-task and manage deadlines.

- Demonstrated ability to manage financial, organizational and staff resources with detail and accuracy.

- Relevant subject matter expertise.in faculty affairs and/or legal and regulatory processes affecting faculty employment
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS*:
- Constantly perform desk-based computer tasks.
- Frequently stand/walk, sitting, grasp lightly/fine manipulation.
- Occasionally use a telephone.
- Rarely lift/carry/push/pull objects that weigh 11-20 pounds.

The expected pay range for this position is $131,000 to $175,000 per annum.
Stanford University provides pay ranges representing its good faith estimate of what the university reasonably expects to pay for a position.
