MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
Education & Experience:
Bachelor's degree and three years of relevant experience or combination of education and relevant experience. Preference will be given to candidates with experience in alumni relations in a higher education setting.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with exceptional attention to detail and follow-through and the ability to represent the university professionally both internally and externally.
- Demonstrated experience with volunteer development and oversight.
- Strong interpersonal, team, and leadership skills; tact and flexibility in working with diverse population groups.
- Sound judgment, the ability to analyze problems quickly and accurately, and the ability to develop practical and effective solutions to solve a variety of problems.
- Computer proficiency and the ability to learn new systems.
Preferred Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team to meet expected deadlines and schedules.
- Salesforce, Marketo, PostGrads, and html experience a plus.
- Able to exercise discretion in working with highly confidential and sensitive information.
Certifications and Licenses:
- Valid California Non-commercial Class Driver's License.
WORKING CONDITIONS:
- Occasional work on evenings and weekends.
- May work outdoors.
- Some local or domestic travel.
