MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

Education & Experience:

Bachelor's degree and three years of experience, or a combination of education and relevant experience.

 

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Demonstrated experience with fundraising in a higher education environment.
  • Skilled at articulating compelling cases for annual support.
  • Ability to develop and initiate new strategies.
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
  • Strong data analysis skills including organizing and analyzing data and communicating/presenting results and recommendations in a succinct fashion to key stakeholders.
  • Adept at problem solving, creating contingency plans and handling emergencies when necessary.
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively with diverse constituencies and effectively develops relationships that enhance overall development goals
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to interact with a wide range of people.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and manage projects simultaneously.   
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills, including the ability to set and meet deadlines.
  • Demonstrated experience with Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).

 

Certifications and Licenses:

  • Valid California Non-commercial Class Driver's License.

 

Main Work Location: Arrillaga Family Sports Center 641 Campus Drive, Stanford, CA 94305. Open to a hybrid work schedule (3 or more days per week on-site).

The expected pay range for this position is $73,000 – $101,000 per annum.

Stanford University provides pay ranges representing its good faith estimate of what the university reasonably expects to pay for a position. The pay offered to a selected candidate will be determined based on factors such as (but not limited to) the scope and responsibilities of the position, the qualifications of the selected candidate, departmental budget availability, internal equity, geographic location, and external market pay for comparable jobs.

 

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS*:

  • Occasionally stand/walk, light/fine grasping, lift/carry/push/pull objects that weigh up to 10 pounds, writing by hand;
  • Frequently perform desk-based computer tasks; frequently sitting; frequently use a telephone;

WORKING CONDITIONS:

  • Occasional work on weekends and evenings.
