To be successful in this position, you will bring:
Education & Experience:
Bachelor’s degree and three years of relevant experience or combination of education, training, and relevant experience. Experience managing a budget and developing financial plans.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities*:
- Ability to develop and market programming with partners across campus
- Data-drive and experience with evaluating programmatic impact and preparing reporting
- Excellent oral, written, and analytical skills, exhibiting fluency in area of specialization.
- Ability to oversee and direct student staff
- Experience with managing budgets and developing financial plans.
In addition, our preferred abilities include:
- An advanced degree in geosciences or engineering is a plus
- Prior work experience in a higher education setting related to admissions, recruitment, retention and inclusion DEI initiatives. Demonstrated ability to engage and advise a diverse student population.
- Ability to produce engaging and consistent communication and marketing materials to broad audience.
- Ability to work independently and demonstrate initiative while managing multiple and changing priorities.
- Commitment to teamwork and strong interpersonal communication skills.
- Cultural sensitivity and knowledge of issues affecting a wide range of persons, including issues of disparities in educational background, family education history, class, race, gender, age, disability, sexuality, and immigration status.
