To be successful in this role, you will bring:

  • Bachelor's degree and five years of relevant experience, or combination of education and relevant experience.
  • Advanced communication skills to clearly and effectively communicate information to internal and external audiences, client groups, and all levels of management.
  • Strong analytical skills with ability to identify and assess risk and exposures across a wide variety of processes.
  • Ability to manage multiple, on-going and complex caseload of incidents and complaints.
  • Excellent attention to detail and the ability to deal with confidential and sensitive information.
  • Ability to build relationships and establish collaborative partnerships across the institution.
  • Demonstrated commitment to diversity and inclusivity, as well as the ability to work with a wide range of constituencies (staff, students, faculty, parents, administrators) with diplomacy and tact.
  • Ability to ensure and apply compliance with legal, financial, and university policies and external regulations.
  • Ability to act independently, take initiative, and exercise sound judgment.
  • Ability to work as part of a team or independently as an individual contributor.

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Must possess diplomacy, tact and the ability to manage confidential student information with discretion.
  • Knowledge of and sensitivity to the undergraduate and graduate experience in a selective, demanding residential university.
  • Law or other graduate degree and a minimum of 7 years relevant experience preferred.

 

Working Conditions:  

Hybrid work schedule with a minimum of 3 days onsite each week; Able to work evenings and weekends, as necessary.  COVID-19 vaccination is required.
