DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- 1-2 years of related hands-on experience in acquiring data that requires a high level of technical skill and attention to detail (including but not limited to functional MRI, EEG, lab-based assays etc.)
- Experience working with sensitive populations, including those with a history of alcohol and substance misuse
- Previous experience in psychological test administration and research design
- Hands-on experience administering structured diagnostic interviews such as the DUKE, MINI, and/or TLFB
- Strong interest of human neuroscience techniques and experimental design including EEG and fMRI
- Effective communication skills, both orally and in writing
- Highly reliable with demonstrated organizational ability
- Accurate record keeping and attention to detail
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE (REQUIRED):
- Two-year college degree and one year of relevant experience or an equivalent combination of experience, education, and training.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES (REQUIRED):
- Strong interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
- Knowledge of medical terminology.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS*:
- Frequently stand, walk, twist, bend, stoop, squat and use fine light/fine grasping.
- Occasionally sit, reach above shoulders, perform desk-based computer tasks, use a telephone and write by hand, lift, carry, push, and pull objects that weigh up to 40 pounds.
- Rarely kneel, crawl, climb ladders, grasp forcefully, sort and file paperwork or parts, rarely lift, carry, push, and pull objects that weigh 40 pounds or more.

WORKING CONDITIONS:
- Occasional evening and weekend hours.
- This position is based in Stanford's Research Park with the option of telecommuting/hybrid schedule subject to operational needs.
The expected pay range for this position is $55,000 to $69,000 per annum. Stanford University provides pay ranges representing its good faith estimate of what the university reasonably expects to pay for a position. The pay offered to a selected candidate will be determined based on factors such as (but not limited to) the scope and responsibilities of the position, the qualifications of the selected candidate, departmental budget availability, internal equity, geographic location and external market pay for comparable jobs.
