MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
Education & Experience:
High school diploma and three years of administrative experience, or combination of education and relevant experience required. Relevant experience or interest in cultural heritage institutions (e.g. a library, archives, or museum) preferred.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to prioritize and multi-task.
- Demonstrated success in following through and completing routine tasks.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficient computer skills and demonstrated experience with office software and email applications.

Certifications and Licenses:
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS*:
- Constantly perform desk-based computer tasks.
- Work with files and books and in places that may be dusty.
- Occasionally stand/walk, reach/work above shoulders, grasp lightly/fine manipulation, grasp forcefully, use a telephone, sort/file paperwork or parts, lift/carry/push/pull objects that weigh up to 10 pounds.
- Occasionally stand/walk, reach/work above shoulders, writing by hand, kneel/crawl, climb (ladders, scaffolds, or other), squat.
- Use a telephone, operate hand controls.
- Must be able to push and maneuver a fully-loaded cart weighing up to 650 pounds that requires an initial push force up to 50 pounds. Ability to lift 40 pound boxes or bundles safely.

WORKING CONDITIONS:
- Routinely works in a public, academic setting.
