Minimum education and experience requirements include:
- High school diploma and three years of administrative experience (Bachelor’s Degree preferred) or a combination and relevant experience.
- Advanced computer skills with a working knowledge of applications such as Excel, Word, Google Suite, Project Management Software.
- Very strong interpersonal skills and a customer-service orientation.
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) are a requirement.
- Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to coordinate and manage multiple projects with competing priorities, meet deadlines and project plans with short- and long-term end dates. Demonstrated success in following through and completing projects.
- Ability to take initiative and ownership of projects, while still being open to new and creative solutions.
In addition, preferred qualifications include:
- Previous experience in an academic environment.
- Ability to coordinate and manage multiple projects with varying levels of complexity; meet deadlines and executive projects plans with short- and long-term end dates.
Physical requirements:
- Constantly perform desk-based computer tasks.
- Frequent sitting.
- Occasionally stand/walk, reach/work above shoulders, grasp lightly/fine manipulation, grasp forcefully, use a telephone, sort/file paperwork or parts, lift/carry/push/pull objects that weight up to 10 pounds.
- Rarely twist/bend/stoop/squat, kneel/crawl.

The expected pay range for this position is $27.40 - $34.00 per hour. Stanford University provides pay ranges representing its good faith estimate of what the university reasonably expects to pay for a position. The pay offered to a selected candidate will be determined based on factors such as (but not limited to) the scope and responsibilities of the position, the qualifications of the selected candidate, departmental budget availability, internal equity, geographic location and external market pay for comparable jobs.
