DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- 3-5 years administrative experience.
- 2-year degree or equivalent.
- Accounting or bookkeeping skills and experience with Stanford Financial Applications.
- Ability to work independently, take initiative, meet deadlines, and follow-up and follow through on assigned tasks.
- A problem solver and a team player.
- Proficient in Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
- Be highly organized, process and detail-oriented, and possess ability to write and communicate effectively.
- Demonstrate a desire to learn with emphasis upon attention to detail.
- Ability to effectively interact, in a cooperative and supportive role, with a diverse population in a fast-paced environment, with a positive attitude and a pleasant demeanor.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE (REQUIRED):
High School diploma or equivalent and two years' work experience.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES (REQUIRED):
- Knowledge of basic accounting procedures.
- Ability to operate computerized office applications and accounting systems.
- Ability to clearly and effectively communicate information to internal audiences and client groups.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS*:
- Constantly perform desk-based computer tasks.
- Frequently sit, sort, file paperwork or parts, grasp lightly, and use fine manipulation, lift, carry, push and pull objects that weigh 10 pounds or less.
- Occasionally write by hand, twist, bend, stoop and squat.
- Rarely stand, walk, reach or work above shoulders and use a telephone.

This is a 100% remote position. May work extended hours during peak business cycles.

This remote role is open to candidates anywhere in the United States. Stanford University has five Regional Pay Structures. The compensation for this position will be based on the location of the successful candidate. The expected pay range for this position is $43,000 to $69,000 per annum/hour.
