MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
Education, Licensure, and Experience:
● A J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school and a record of academic and extracurricular success in law school;
● Prior admission to a state bar; and
● A minimum of two years’ experience in law practice and/or law teaching with a focus on legal writing and analysis. Or a combination of education and relevant experience.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
● Strong communication skills to clearly and effectively communicate information to internal and external audiences, client groups, and management;
● Advanced analysis and problem solving skills;
● Advanced computer skills, including experience with Microsoft Office Suite.
● Advanced customer service skills;
● Relevant computer systems/technology experience; and
● Ability to ensure and apply compliance with legal, financial, and university policies and external regulations.
PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS:
Strong preference will be given to candidates with the following qualifications and experience:
● Familiarity with the subjects tested on and the format of the California, NextGen, and Uniform Bar Exams;
● Degree or experience in Education or Counseling;
● Experience in academic support/skills programs at the law-school level;
● The ability to juggle multiple competing priorities and meet firm deadlines;
● The ability to handle confidential information and exhibit good judgment in working with students, faculty, and staff;
● A strong understanding of the conceptual frameworks of growth mindset, stereotype threat, and belonging; and
● The ability to work collaboratively with a diverse population of students, faculty, and administrators.
Working Conditions:
● This job may, on occasion, require after-hours availability on evenings or weekends in response to the needs of the Stanford Law School community; and
● This is a hybrid position with onsite work each week
The expected pay range for this position is $94,998 - $$117,200 per annum. The actual pay will be pro-rated based on the 60% FTE. Stanford University provides pay ranges representing its good faith estimate of the salary the university reasonably expects to pay for a position upon hire. The pay offered to a selected candidate will be determined based on factors such as (but not limited to) the scope and responsibilities of the position, the qualifications of the selected candidate, departmental budget availability, internal equity, geographic location and external market pay for comparable jobs.
